Question:

We’ve been married 31 years and completed all of the Affair Recovery courses. I’ve been doing EMDR work for a year now and my husband just started EMDR 2-3 months ago. We just started couples counseling. He finally had a breakthrough in April, finally a heart change and humility set in, but still no real brokenness for what he’s done nor has he asked me to forgive him. We’re 18 months past D-Day and a year past relapse. He’s moving toward me but still not romantic after his 2.5 year limerent and physical affair. He used to be very living and romantic in the past but he says he’s tired from getting up early for work. I don’t buy that that’s all there is to it. What else could it be?
