Question:

My marriage is over, we are now divorced. I heard you say in lesson 1 that my ex's affair had nothing to do with me. I know it was her choice, but there were certainly things on my part that contributed to her feeling the way she did and her seeking validation and comfort from someone else. I have always dealt with insecurity in my life, as well as jealous feelings and depending too much on one person for my happiness. What happened with my ex and been a recurring pattern in my life, so I signed up for this class to work on myself. My question is, how do get to know someone new in the future without fear of what happened in the past with my ex happening again?
