Question:

We are 2 years and 5 months out from D-Day. I have completed Harboring Hope and my husband is currently in Hope for Healing. He has done everything he possibly can. He has been the textbook example of someone who has changed as a result of his work on our recovery. I still think about this every day. Thoughts drag me down very easily. I still cry myself to sleep long after he’s fallen asleep because my sadness in still being here overwhelms me. I took a pcl-5 test that Rick mentioned in one of his videos and scored off the charts. Should I be looking into EMDR or brainspotting? I don’t know what else to do. I fear that consistently feeling this way will drive one of us to finally give up and leave.

ETT

Due to my mates infidelity and past childhood trauma I was diagnosed with Complex PTSD, by a Trama Phycologist, my score was in the 70s Today 6 weeks since having ETT. I am finally able to properly process my emotions. Tiggers still happen, but the Fight, flight or freeze, is at a minimum. ETT is truly amazing, a Blessing!!
