My husband betrayed me 8 months ago with an online emotional. He loves to heap the blame on me while defending himself of the furtive lifestyle he's led for years. I've been patient while he goes on with "life as usual", though he claims to be processing this in his own way. He sees a biblical counselor twice monthly. I'm doing all I can to heal myself, including completing the Harboring Hope course. I faithfully watch the videos of Rick and Samuel and learn a lot. My husband, on occasion when he's seen an Affair Recovery video or article, claims that Affair Recovery lets the betrayed off the hook always....saying they're totally without fault. My husband is polite. Civil. I'm crushed and broken. What is repair work supposed to look like? Sadly, our individual counseling is not with an infidelity expert. The financial devastation that accompanied this affair prevents anything but the bare minimum.
