Can you help me understand this quote from the article “31 Reasons to Stop an Affair - Part 3?” Here is the quote, “One of the primary causes of affairs is codependency, which means an individual doesn't know how to be happy unless their spouse is responding in the right way, or is doing the right thing.” Does this mean that the person who has the affair could possibly be codependent, or does it mean that I (not the one who had the affair) could be codependent? Or could we both have codependent tendencies?
