Can you give me any advice in how to make new friends or meet new people that remind me of the affair partner or the "type" of person that my wayward spouse finds attractive and has an addiction over? I understand I shouldn't compare and such and I usually don't. But the anxiety, fear and the way it triggers me is overpowering. I am 6 months out from D-Day 1 and 2 months out from day 2. I understand it's still new to me but I would really like to find ways to manage that fear and discomfort. I don't want what my wayward spouse did to prevent me from making friends with others that I know are nice people, simply because they are the type of people he obsesses over.
