Question:

Is there any hope of a marriage being restored when the the betrayer has been unfaithful the entire 17 years of marriage? He was even unfaithful before our marriage, during our 5 year dating. He has also been diagnosed with a sex addiction. All this seems impossible to overcome! Is it worth trying at all? Or is this man far to messed up to change? He is in law enforcement and I believe he has completely severed his emotions due to what he’s seen and can live two totally separate lives, like Jekyll and Hyde. Is he to far gone? Please let me know if I should just start over with someone new.
