Question:

Rick, I have 2 questions”

  1. In the EMSO curriculum, you reference your 16 year-old daughter's pregnancy as being one of the worst things to happen that became one of the best things to have happened. Can you share the story of how God redeemed the situation? Do you think your infidelity may have played a role in her having an unwed pregnancy?
  2. The other question is, how do professionals who have the knowledge, training and tools for safeguarding their marriages still become unfaithful to their spouses? I can't wrap my mind around it. Of course, I know people are human, but it really seems like professionals should know better.
