Question:

Hi Rick.

My husband (unfaithful) and I are 16 months from D-Day, completed EMSO and are in week 32 of MFL.

My question is as the betrayed wife, how do I handle the shame and embarrassment of what my husband did when I run into people that have heard of our crisis? I'm really struggling with how to handle these encounters and find myself avoiding places where I think such a possible encounter could occur. Also, our teenage children know what their father did and have had some rude comments from peers at school. What advice do you have for them in handling these type of encounters.
Thank you.
