Question:

Since my last question you answered, new information has come to light. The feeling she was stuck on was because she had given a time line of 90 days to see if she was going to feel different and want to reconcile, the near miss at an event where I saw him and got her out sent her into a tail spin. Since she did not feel different she contacted the AP. She wanted to divorce and move in with him. He refused and now we have been trying to just be together and ignore the elephant in the room. I feel she will relapse again since he said he would just be friends. It was a very emotional affair for her and that was the third time false reconciliation and her AP has sent her back to work on the marriage. I have no access to her work computer and phone, or cell phone which she used for her affair. She has not been able to stop herself even with an accountability partner. I have asked her to do the EMS weekend she doesn’t want that; counseling for her is going once a month. How can we heal and how can I not think that there will be another affair? We have no plan.
