Dear Rick, I'm not sure how to proceed. My father-in-law was aware of my husband's infidelity before I was. He knew my husband "was talking to someone" but did not come to me. His father had multiple affairs during his marriage and cautioned him to "figure it out". He had made the offer to help any way he could during the rough time myt husband and I were having. Needless to say, he didn't figure it out and I found out several weeks later that he had been in a full blown affair for months. I feel disrespected and betrayed by my father-in-law as well. I'm not sure if I should tell him about my feelings as part of my path to forgiveness. It feels like an elephant in the room when I see him.... Thank you,
