As the dust settles we are noticing that conversations focus more on the day to day rather than the affair and the recovery, as they should be. However, the level of intensity and deep connection feels different or lacking. We had to put so much time, emotion and effort into the healing process that now regular conversations seem bland and missing intensity. Unless there is some big deal thing that comes up or we create drama it feels very surface level. How do we get that strong emotional connection back? Don’t get me wrong, we are still working on our marriage and recovery... we will always be a work in progress. But it’s just different now. Is this a normal part of the recovery process?Sections: Rick's Q & A timeRick's QuestionsRL_Category: Find HopeQ&A Recovery LibraryStrengthening MarriageRL_Media Type: Video
