Question:

My husband is the betrayer. I thought that when I confronted him and the affair was exposed, that he would be remorseful and beg me to stay. However, he has not shown any remorse other than to say he is sorry that he hurt me. It has been three months since D-Day and he continues to be ambivalent. He says he is not sure that he wants to be with me, and refuses to give me any inkling of what he wants. I don't want our marriage to end, and I believe it can be better than it ever was if we both work at it. How do I get through each day knowing he doesn't love me or want me? Where is the hope in that?
