Question:

How long did it take you to become a new person who is open about his feelings and no longer rug sweeping and avoiding confrontation? What would you say your timeline was when it comes to this subject?

Hi Wayne

thank you for your detailed response.

Yes, indeed not the answer I was hoping for, but very confirming of the motions I am going through in this process. You are spot on when you say 'you need to find out if you want to become this new type of person' That is exactly what I have been telling my BS. It took me a lot of reflection and honesty towards myself to confidently say ' yes, I really do want to become this new version of myself, because I believe it will make my life and our marriage so much better'

Wise words, and thank you once again Wayne.
