Question:

My spouse gets violent and very physical when she is angry. She always justifies that she do that because of too much pain and she cant handle it. It's her way of getting her emotion out. We have been like this for more than a year already and she really can't control her anger. Time-outs are also not applicable to her. To make things worse, when she is sober already, she tries to justify her outburst by saying that won't happen if I have only been faithful. She also says that she is just staying with this marriage because of our 2 kids. We have tried counseling, EMSO, psychiatrist, etc but it seems like healing for our marriage is impossible. Is it time to call it quits and separate our way? Or are there still some other things I can try?
