Question: 

What are some ways that my spouse and I can keep things safe when it comes to a relapse? I've promised not to have any other affairs but knowing that I can't trust myself I'm more aware of high risk situations that I need to avoid. I don't want my wife to fall victim to pimping tenderness again and I don't want to have any other relationship outside of my marriage. We are both unfaithful and betrayed

The Affair Uncovered Much More Than An Affair...

In my situation, the betrayal openned a can of worns. I wasn't blind. I was lied to which is different. Having an affair is a choice. Avoding iti, it s a responsibility. Red, Green or Yellow lights? If I have to live with an individual that is that weak? that gives in so easily or even makes that choice deliverately, I don't want to stay in a marriage or even a relationship where one is checking for Red, Green or Yellow lights.

I am aware of statistics indicating that 3 out of 5 individuals will be unfaithful during the a relationship or marrige. Well my job is to find those 2 remaining who I can love, and be loved back with all the principles and determination it takes.

It is daunting to me staying in a marriage with a broken individual. Yes, I have compassion, I even forgive him, but I am not a psychologist or therapist to be in a perpetual session, guessing for the rest of my life what is that person really thinking?or wanting? to do or is he valuing me?
