Question
I was the unfaithful spouse in our relationship and I have noticed that anytime I do anything that frustrates my wife, things not necessarily related to the affair, I still find myself assuming that her frustration for the current thing will trigger her anger about the affair. I immediately make the jump in my mind that she is bringing up everything I have ever done in her head and I get indignant. Is it normal for me to be worried that her every sign of anger will automatically bring her back to my affair? How can I change that attitude in my own mind?
