My husband told me details of his affair that I wish I had never known on top of what I already knew. It wasn't long after his last contact with the AP. Comments like "I really miss talking to her". He talked about the sex that they had, it was as if he was talking to me as a "buddy". Now almost 18 months later he says those were lies. He doesn't remember a lot of what he said to me and that hurts. It's like a bad game of "your stuck with it". He has done a lot of what you suggest by telling me was it "wasn't". Can you please share the importance of doing this to help the betrayed heal from the hurtful words.
