My husband is still talking to the affair partner. He still hasn’t shared his story with me or our group. He tells the group that its hard for him to open up. He is afraid. We shared our empathy letter last Thursday. I think he feels my pain. Even thought he still doesn’t tell me what happened, I know he is trying to break up with the affair partner. My question is: does my husband needs to explain to affair partner why he wants to break away? An affair is an affair, it’s wrong in every single way I can imagine. Why does he need to spend time and effort to break up with the affair partner? Why can’t he just leave her?
