Question:

My husband was involved in a two year relationship with his affair partner during a time in my life when I was very ill and had faced many life threatening surgeries. It was during one of this hospital stays that I found out about his infidelity which was going on both during my hospitalization and for another six months even after I found out.

Needless to say, I was devastated and felt so much betrayal and hurt which came across as anger to my spouse. My question is, is that I don't understand why now that his affair is over and he sincerely seems repentant that he has no desire and does not even show that he is interested in me sexually or romantically. It seems like we are just roommates! This almost hurts just as much as the affair he had and I don't know why or what I am doing wrong. He says he loves me and is committed to our marriage but it's been so long.....Before his affair our sex life was minimal. But in the last couple of years it has gone to ZERO times in the past year since we've been intimate. What can I do?
