My unfaithful husband had a physical and emotional affair. He had said many times that he never said anything bad about me to his AP. I find this way of thinking so bizarre. I am sure it was obvious to his AP, and anyone with half of a mind, that by engaging in an affair and all the lies and betrayal that goes with it, that he was screaming horrible things about me. I think he really believed that he was protective of me. Can you help me understand how the unfaithful can think this way?
