We are 3 1/2 months from DDay. Our biggest issue is my husband's struggle to show empathy to my emotional needs. When I get upset, he has not yet learned how to respond to me even if I am upset specifically due to something he has said. We are seeing a counselor and making progress but I am struggling with this issue. What suggestions do you have for me to handle my emotions and be more tolerant of his lack of empathy?
