Question:

My husband promised he would restore my dignity and tell is affair partner, who we temporarily live with, that what he told her about me was lies and he never had any intention of being with her. He hasn't yet done it. When I ask he says I'm just using that because I can and that is not what we are arguing about. Basically he tells me how I feel and what the problem is. When he refuses to do it my suspicions are justified that he obviously has feelings for her or he would have no problem doing something so important to me. I don't feel I should have to do anything for it or give in to his ultimatums on hopes he might actually do it. Am I wasting my time on someone that clearly doesn't want to be with me?
