Question:

Every time I start to feel better, my unfaithful spouse stops putting in as much effort. Since attending EMS Online we have made tremendous progress towards healing our marriage after discovery of my husband’s affairs last year. However, every time I’m doing well emotionally my husband seems to become more distant. He stays busy with other things & stops making transparency a priority. His affairs happened at his job so it’s hard for me when he isn’t consistent in sharing who he’s with, what he’s doing & when he’ll be home. I don’t want to discourage him by pointing out the things he’s NOT doing. We’ve both put a lot of work into recovery and his job is very demanding so I know it’s exhausting. But he just doesn’t put the same amount of effort in when things are going well and it’s starting to make me feel unsafe to feel OK.
