I am so sorry for your loss. My heart aches for you-My Aunt just experienced this a month ago after she found evidence of my uncle cheating- she approached him about it- he denied it all and quickly begged for her to stay and forgive any wrong he had done. She was not able to forgive him at that time (she didn’t even know the details - how could she forgive?) and days later he took his life. My aunt has no answers, is torturing herself with guilt saying “maybe I should have just forgave him” - she is so traumatized by the suicide and by the infidelity. She has a long road of recovery ahead. She is clinging to her faith- and has amazing people supporting her. I will have to tell her about the grief handbook!
