Question:

My husband and I have been married 24 years and are approaching the first anniversary of our D-Day. His sexual affair lasted 3+ years. During that time we rarely had sex, but when we did, we never had any problems. However, once his affair came to light, he began experiencing erectile disorder with me. He told me it started shortly after he began the affair. I didn't even know he had a problem. He had even secretly gotten Viagra from his doctor. Now his ED is full blown. He's 58 and I'm wondering if there's any hope for us to resume normal intimacies. We are in marriage counseling and working hard on our relationship. We hope to do EMS Online soon. What's going on here? Is this normal? Will this problem reverse itself? He's a recovering alcoholic and 60 days into sobriety, if that helps.
