Question:

First of all, thank you Rick, for Affair Recovery!

My husband (the unfaithful) and I have been married for 35 years. My husband was married once before and was also unfaithful then. Out of this marriage, we produced 3 children who are now 28 (son), 27 (daughter) and 22 (son) years old. My husband also has a daughter (40) who is married and has a family of her own.

My husband has been unfaithful throughout our marriage with sexual affairs, an emotional affair, strip clubs, and porn. He was also extremely neglectful and at times abusive.

My question is - What do we tell our children? Do we speak to them separately or together?

Our kids know something is not right, and because of his neglect over the years, none of the children have developed a close relationship with him. Because of this, my third question is what reaction(s) can we expect from them?
