Hi Rick, My husband and I have completed EMSO and are in week 8 of married for life. He is a Sex addict with 6 months sobriety. I practice truth in love on the call and use it to try and address things in our relationship outside of the call as well. My wounds with my requests are met with blank stares, silence, shaming ( I am unreasonable or too needy). Is my expectation for empathy and an attempt to meet my requests unreasonable? There seems to be a lack of clarity in what the expectation for the partner hearing the wound is. Can you please explain what a reasonable expectation is.
