Question:

I'd like to hear about the relationship between trauma and infidelity. How or what about the trauma can precipitate infidelity? In what was does trauma make someone more susceptible to infidelity? Also, can their be a state of limerence without the feeling of being in love? Wouldn't the person in the limerant state at least believe for a time that they are in love? It seems that it would take a high degree of personal insight to tell the difference and one would think that having a high level of insight would not be a characteristic of someone susceptible to the delusions of infidelity.
