My husband is in Hope for Healing and I am in Harboring Hope. He has started the section of amends, and told me several weeks ago he was still working on writing it down. This morning he told me that he was not ready to do his amends because I was not ready to forgive him. I tried to explain that forgiveness was more for me than him and I wasn’t to that point yet. So he basically said he couldn’t do amends because I couldn’t forgive? I just don’t understand that concept.
