Question:

I'm considering a separation as I really want healing time on my own, and I'm honestly not sure I want to continue in this relationship. I love my husband, but I'm not in love with my husband. I just find myself pulling further and further away, not wanting to subject myself to this anymore. He has had multiple one-night stands and a long term emotional affair most recently. Too much hurt, so much damage. He's trying as best as he can to help us move forward. Ultimately it's probably my choice. I'm exhausted and question myself as to my choice to stay in this marriage. We have children and grandchildren together and a 40+ year history. I'm so devastated to even think about it all. How do I make the best choice? I'm praying for guidance and understanding, and listening to my heart.
