Question:

My husband and I are just past the 1 year D-Day anniversary. He had a one year affair, but refused to admit it to me for an additional 10 years, despite my suspicions and repeated questioning. I completed Harboring Hope and we attended the EMS Weekend in December. We both benefited a great deal from that and he has been extremely empathetic and supportive since D-Day. I am still struggling a lot, but think I might be starting to see the tiny light at the end of the tunnel. Could you talk about renewing wedding vows? Why is it important, how and when in recovery do you suggest people do this? What about choosing a date and getting new rings and any other suggestions you have on the subject.
